Allied's First Quarter Revenues Are Up

Scottsdale, Ariz. — Allied Waste Industries Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., reported $1.31 billion in revenues for the first quarter of 2005, up 2.4 percent from $1.27 billion in revenue during first-quarter 2004. The firm also reported $17 million in net income for first-quarter 2005 after experiencing a net loss of $2.4 million during the first quarter of last year.
