The retailer American TV has joined Waste Management’s nationwide electronics recycling program. The retailer has 15 stores in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa and Missouri.

Customers can bring TVs, monitors, computers and other electronics made by Sony, LG, Zenith and Goldstar to American TV stores for free recycling.

Launched in August 2007, Waste Management’s Electronics Recycling Program allows consumers to recycle used electronics for free by dropping them off at designated Waste Management eCycling Centers. Sony and LG Electronics became partners of the program in August 2008.
