Don Link Passes Away

Don Link, the owner of Winamac, Ind.-based Link Environmental Equipment, died on Tuesday, Sept. 29. He was 64.

Link founded Link Environmental, which is a distributor of compactors, balers, containers, hoists, roll-offs and refuse vehicles, in 1987.

He is a former employee of Galbreath and is a member of several trade organizations. Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue; two sons; two daughters; two brothers; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. EST on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the First United Methodist Church in Winamac. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, at Frain Mortuary and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday at First United Methodist.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Winamac or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
