EPA Accepting Applications for Environmental Education Grant Funding

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is accepting applications for grant funding for environmental education projects and programs. EPA will issue a total of $3.4 million in grants and expects to award approximately 100 grants ranging from $5,000 to $200,000 apiece.
The purpose of the grants is to “promote environmental stewardship and help develop knowledgeable and responsible students, teachers and citizens. The grants provide financial support for innovative projects that design, demonstrate or disseminate environmental education practices, methods or techniques,” according to an EPA press release.
