EPA Announces Winner of TV Recycling Challenge

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has announced that the Electronic Manufacturers Recycling Management Co. is the winner of the agency’s TV Recycling Challenge. The company, which is a joint venture between Panasonic, Sharp and Toshiba, recycled approximately 3 million pounds of televisions from January 2009 through August 2009.
