The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has certified that Greensboro, N.C.-based Mack Trucks’ MP7 and MP8 diesel engines meet the agency’s 2010 emission standards. The California Air Resources Board also has certified that the engines meet upcoming state emission standards.

The engines use selective catalytic reduction technology to meet the standards. For more on this technology and the 2010 federal emission standards, click here.
