N.J. Senator urges for state regulated facilities along rail lines.

In an ongoing debate, U.S. Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg, D-N.J., urged the Surface Transportation Board at a recent hearing to allow states such as New Jersey to regulate solid waste processing facilities along rail lines.

“While I have a bill that would give states the tools they need, the board could resolve this problem far sooner,” he said in a press release.
