Survey: More than 80 Percent of U.S. Households Recycle

Nearly 94 percent of U.S. residents think recycling is good for the environment, and more than 80 percent of U.S. households recycle. Those are among the findings of a recent survey commissioned by the Glass Packaging Institute (GPI) and released today.

GPI released the survey during Recycle Glass Week, during which “GPI and its member companies will be holding over 50 events across the country … [to create] awareness about the benefits of choosing and recycling glass,” according to a GPI press release.
