WCA Waste Corp. Announces Third Quarter Results

Houston — For third-quarter 2004, WCA Waste Corp. has reported a net income of $1.1 million on revenues of $19.8 million. For the same period one year earlier, the firm announced a $1.2 million on revenues of $16.6 million.

For the first nine months of this year, WCA has reported a net loss of $5.1 million on revenues of $52.8 million. For the first three quarters of 2003, the firm reported a net income of $4.8 million on revenues of $48.2 million. The firm attributed the net loss to a one-time reorganization charge that occurred as a result of the cancellation of options and warrants prior to the company’s initial public offering.
