Virtual Open House for Machinex 50th Anniversary
November 16, 2020
Machinex is celebrating its 50th anniversary as an equipment manufacturer and wanted to share this moment with its customers and business partners. Due to the current world environment, the company decided to organize a virtual Open House from the Plessisville Headquarters on November 12th. The goal was to share this unique moment with those who contributed to this achievement. Sales team members from the various Machinex branches located in the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom were also virtually part of the event, each in their respective offices, due to travel restrictions.
The Machinex 50th anniversary Open House was an opportunity to discover what takes place behind the various company facilities' closed doors. The agenda started with a glimpse into the evolution of Machinex and its accomplishments over 50 years in business. After, attendees had exclusive virtual access to the recently modernized manufacturing facilities and some sessions covering critical pieces of equipment, all manufactured by Machinex, found in high-performance sorting systems such as balers, ballistic separators, optical sorters, and robots.
Thanks to GFL, who opened their Winnipeg MRF to us for an exclusive guided tour of their state-of-the-art sorting system provided by Machinex. Finally, Machinex inaugurated its brand new building, the Technology Hub, that will host its latest technologies such as optics and robots.
Throughout these presentations, we heard vibrant customer testimonials, demonstrating the meaning behind the Machinex tag line: Experience Results. Important politicians also shared their congratulations to the company via video, including Mr. Éric Lefebvre, Arthabaska Deputy and Chief Whip of the Government of Quebec. Mrs. Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages of the Government of Canada and Mr. Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economics and Innovation for Government of Quebec officially inaugurated the Technology Hub.
The last word was from Machinex CEO, Mr. Pierre Paré, who ended the event by thanking all of his customers, partners, and dedicated employees who all contributed to this success. The event was a great success since customers and partners appreciate discovering all the facets of Machinex, in all its authenticity that makes this company unique and prosperous.
