New Workplace Recycling Regulations will require different sectors in Wales to separate their recyclable materials, and Business Waste is stepping in to help.

The new mandates will require businesses, public, and voluntary sector workplaces to separate recyclables, much like the current requirements for residents. Welsh businesses will need a different recycling bin for paper and cardboard, glass, plastic, cans, and food materials to comply.

To help facilitate the number of bins needed for each business, Business Waste is launching an initiative to hand out free recycling bins. Business Waste is offering 250,000 free bins to the estimated 220,000 businesses in Wales.

“We know that waste management can often be stressful for businesses, especially when adapting to new regulations,” said Mark Hall, co-founder of Business Waste.

“We want to make the transition to this new policy as easy and cost-effective for Welsh businesses, which is why we’ve decided to give away 250,00 free Recycling bins to all the businesses that want to sign up and claim theirs today.”
