The GAP Group is gearing up to roll out a new recycling company that will add jobs and continue the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

GAP Group (Northeast) Limited, a waste management and logistics company, has launched GAP Renew. GAP Renew will serve as a national refurbishment and recycle service for white goods and electrical appliance manufacturers. The new roles will include mainly warehouse staff but will see some admin roles as well.

“As part of GAP Group’s commitment to environmental responsibility GAP Renew has incredible potential to redefine the returns landscape and support brands in their journey towards a circular economy reusing valuable resource. GAP Renew is the next stage in the company’s long term vision for a environmentally sustainable future, is fully operational now and aiming to reuse and recycle at least 500,000 electrical and electronic units in the first year,” said Steve Lineton, managing director.

“Because GAP can offer all of its refurb and recycle in-house we are offering the markets only truly 360 degree solution either refurbishing or recycling under one roof. This in turn will protect manufacturers brand value, boost their bottom line and reduce vendors carbon usage.”
