At DesignInspire 2017, an inspiring platform for design brands, design associations and institutes to showcase their creativity, H&M Foundation and the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) demonstrated a new concept, Closed-Loop Apparel Recycling Eco-System.
The technology, which will be scaled up, tested to prove commercial viability and eventually finalized, will be licensed widely though HKRITA to ensure both broad market access and maximum impact.
