The Melbourne-based firm Infinitev is entering a partnership with Kia Australia to help develop innovative ways to recycle and repurpose electric vehicle batteries.

The collaboration between the two companies hopes to address the environmental issues regarding the disposal of electric car batteries. These innovations would pave the way for a more sustainable future in the automotive industry.

Infinitev has developed a process for evaluating electric vehicle batteries under this partnership. The batteries will be examined for safety first, then undergo diagnostic checks to assess their remaining performance abilities.

Batteries will be determined if they can be reused in other vehicles, repurposed for energy storage, or recycled to recover their materials.
