Captain Trash Wheel to be Installed at Masonville Cove, Md., Next Year
The Port of Baltimore has announced that the name of the Masonville Cove trash wheel is Captain Trash Wheel.
In 2015, the City of Baltimore launched its first waste water wheel named Mr. Trash Wheel into the Inner Harbor to help clean up waste from the harbor. A year later, the city revealed its second waste water wheel named Professor Trash Wheel, which is smaller than the original waste water wheel and operates more quickly and collects small pieces of trash.
Earlier this year, the Maryland Port Administration announced that it would install two more trash wheels at Port Covington and Masonville Cove in Maryland by the end of 2018. Now, the Port of Baltimore has announced that the name of the Masonville Cove trash wheel is Captain Trash Wheel.
