▪ Late this summer, Patrick McCloskey, a veteran waste truck professional well known within the industry, passed away. Jim Johnston, president of Autocar LLC, offers the following words in remembrance:

“Patrick McCloskey, a friend and colleague, whose quick wit and dedication to the refuse industry endeared him to us all, recently passed away. His death is a loss for our entire industry.

Pat's work with Rapid Rail, Heil, McNeilus and Mack Trucks gave him a depth of knowledge and experience not easily matched in this business. His understanding of the refuse industry's equipment, business and people made a tremendous contribution and will be missed.

Thanks, Pat, for helping make many of us more successful and bringing some laughter into our lives.”
