Advanced Disposal Services Inc. has purchased two haulers in Indiana and Wisconsin.
The Ponte Vedra, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal said in news releases it acquired DC Disposal Inc., based in Evansville, Ind., and the assets of Sherman Sanitation, headquartered in Janesville, Wis. Both deals were for undisclosed amounts.
The purchase of DC Disposal expands the company’s Indiana footprint, the firm said. It includes 900 residential carts, 130 rear load containers and three mixed residential and commercial routes that Advanced Disposal will serve from its Evansville hauling location.
The company will deliver waste to its Evansville transfer station and dispose of it at its Blackfoot Landfill in Winslow, Ind.
Four employees from DC Disposal will join Advanced, including Owner David Mckeethen, who will serve residential/construction sales representative.
The deal was the company’s fifth acquisition in the East region in 2013.
The purchase of the Sherman Sanitation assets includes six commercial routes that Advanced Disposal will serve from its Atkinson, Wis. location. The company will then dispose of the waste at its Mallard Ridge Landfill in Delevan, Wis.
The acquisition will expand the company’s Wisconsin footprint, Advanced Disposal said. It was the eighth purchase for the firm in 2013 in the Midwest region.
The deals were Advanced Disposal’s 16th and 17th purchases overall in 2013.
