Advanced Disposal, Jacksonville, Fla., has purchased a construction and demolition debris landfill permit and nearly 160 acres of land in Walton County, Ga. The landfill is scheduled to open in Fall 2008.

“The acquisition of this disposal asset into Advanced Disposal’s existing line of business allows the company to gain greater density and market share in a dynamic, high growth area of the Southeast,” said Charlie Appleby, chairman and CEO of Advanced Disposal, in a press release.
