Raleigh, N.C. — Waste Industries USA Inc., Raleigh, N.C., has completed a purchase-and-sale transaction with Waste Management Inc. (WM), Houston. Under the terms of the deal, Waste Industries purchased WM’s Cedartown, Ga., hauling operation and certain customer accounts in Gwinnett County, Ga. Waste Industries also sold its Woodstock, Ga., hauling operation and transfer station facility to WM, along with certain customer accounts in the Georgia counties of Cobb, Fulton, Cherokee and Forsyth.
