Three Executives Elected to EIA Board of Trustees

Three industry executives have been elected to serve on the Environmental Industry Associations’ (EIA) Board of Trustees. The executives are Richard Burke, president and CEO of Veolia Environmental Services North America; Jim Long, president and CEO of Veolia ES Solid Waste; and Jim O’Connor, chairman and CEO of Republic Services.

“We are pleased and fortunate that Richard Burke, Jim Long and Jim O’Connor have agreed to serve in a leadership role on the EIA Board of Trustees,” said Bruce J. Parker, president and CEO of EIA, in a press release. “These executives exemplify the best qualities found in the leaders of our member companies, and their dedication to service reflects the commitment of our industry to protecting the public health and the environment in local communities across the country.”
