Waste Connections CEO Receives Award

Folsom, Calif. -- Ron J. Mittelstaedt, chief executive officer of Waste Connections Inc., has been recognized as Ernst & Young’s Northern California Entrepreneur of the Year for 2003 in the consumer services category. Thirty-eight finalists from 11 categories came from the Northern California region. Mittelstaedt now will go on to the national competition for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award, which will be announced in November.
