Global Clean, MicroEnergies Form Waste-to-Energy Joint Venture
Global Clean Energy Inc. (GCEI) has formed a waste-to-energy joint venture with MicroEnergies LLC for waste tires and plastics.
The joint venture between Houston-based GCEI and Las Vegas-based MicroEnergies will use pyrolysis gasification to turn waste tires and plastics into high-value carbon and fuel, according to a news release. It will use technologies and feedstock agreements obtained by MicroEnergies, an alternative energy development company.
MicroEnergies also will oversee current and future projects in GCEI’s Project Development division.
"We are excited to be teaming up with MicroEnergies, LLC, which will enable GCEI to capitalize on its pipeline of projects and those of MicroEnergies LLC," said Brian Levine, chief operating officer of GCEI, a waste-to-energy conversion solutions company.
