Mattress Companies Partner on Recycling Program

Mattress Firm has partnered with Sleep Inc. on a mattress recycling program.

Houston-based retailer Mattress Firm is working with Corsicana, Texas-based Sleep Inc. on the DreamGreen initiative. Every Mattress Firm store in Texas will take part in the program, working to take old mattresses out of the bedding industry and recycle them for uses other than bedding.

DreamGreen, a Sleep Inc. initiative, recycled more than 60,000 mattresses and box springs in 2012, equaling 8 million pounds of materials diverted from landfills.
