University of Montana Conducts Waste Audit to Review Impact of New Recycling Bins
The waste audit will help detect if the new recycling bins in the residence halls are making a difference.
The Associated Students of the University of Montana Sustainability Center and University of Montana Sustainability Office are conducting a waste audit to find out if the new recycling bins in the residence halls are making a difference.
The results from the audit are expected to be released next week.

If you've lived outside Missoula, you might think you can recycle glass.
Not the case around here, where the Associated Students of the University of Montana Sustainability Center and UM Sustainability Office were spreading the word Wednesday about recyclable and non-recyclable items.
"While we have a long way to go before we're doing everything we can be doing, I think the evidence from today suggests that students are making an effort to recycle," said Meredith Repke, ASUM Sustainability Center coordinator.
