Heritage-Crystal Clean Completes First Acquisition Following J.F. Lehman Purchase

Heritage Crystal-Clean

Heritage Crystal-Clean has confirmed the purchase of Envirosafe Services of Ohio, Inc.

The acquisition is the waste service provider's first since J.F. Lehman & Son's (JFLCO) purchased Crystal Clean in October 2023.

Oregon, Ohio-based Envirosafe specializes in hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal. The company's catalog of 600 EPA waste codes permits it to accept various types of special waste.

Glenn Shor, Crystal Clean chairman and partner at JFLCO, said the purchase was part of an overarching focus on "highly strategic acquisitions."

"This acquisition jump-starts our growth strategy, and we are excited to continue to support the Crystal Clean team in future acquisitions" commented Dave Thomas, director, Crystal Clean and managing director, JFLCO. 

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Shearman & Sterling provided legal counsel to Crystal Clean and JFLCO. Houlihan Lokey served as exclusive financial advisor and Eastman & Smith provided legal counsel to Envirosafe, according to the companies.
