Burlington County, N.J., Officials Approve $9m Bond for Landfill Expansion, Recycling Center

The county is one step closer to expanding its 123-acre landfill by March, approving $6 million in funding for the project.
The Burlington County Board of Freeholders finalized a $9 million bond issue last week, which includes $6 million for the landfill expansion project and $3 million to replace seven trucks and purchase recycling equipment for the Robert C. Shinn Jr. Recycling Center in Westampton.
