The Caroline County Board of Supervisors essentially blocked the path Tuesday night for an application for a landfill to come to the county.
At the end of the regular meeting, Chairman Calvin Taylor suggested voting on a text amendment that would be needed to amend the county’s Solid Waste Management Plan. The amendment would be necessary before an application on a potential landfill could be submitted.
The text amendment would have allowed a private facility for “construction, demolition, debris and limited commercial waste.”
