FCM Recycling Inc. has opened an electronics waste processing facility on Annacis Island, British Columbia.

The Lavaltrie, Quebec-based company said in a news release the facility gives FCM a national reach throughout Canada. The facility covers 50,000 square feet and provides Canadian residential and business customers with processing capabilities for e-waste, information technology asset disposition (ITAD) and data destruction.

“British Columbia, with a population of over 4 million people, is home to one of the most advanced and developed end-of-life electronics processing programs,” said Andrew Rubin, FCM representative. “FCM is excited to provide its services in the BC market.”
