Advanced Disposal Acquires Appalachian Waste

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal Services has acquired Appalachian Waste Services and its affiliate Mountain Convenience Center Properties. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

“This acquisition is a continuation of Advanced Disposal’s successful growth strategy throughout Georgia and the Southeast” says Charlie Appleby, CEO of Advanced Disposal, in a press release. “Acquisition opportunities such as Appalachian Waste create dynamic growth for the company as well as open up new service areas in which to offer our customer-oriented collection services.”
