Rumpke Consolidated Cos., Cincinnati, has acquired the assets of H&R Sanitation in Ashland, Ky. Specifically, Rumpke bought the smaller company’s trucks, containers, and its roughly 2,000 residential and commercial accounts. Service for those accounts will not be interrupted during the transition, and no immediate changes are planned, according to Rumpke.

“Rumpke looks forward to providing excellent service for our new customers,” said Andrew Rumpke, vice president of Rumpke, in a press release. “This investment allows Rumpke to become more involved in the communities, as we always strive to build great working relationships with the residents and businesses in our service region.”
