Waste360, Stifel to Present Third Annual Investor Summit at 2015 WasteExpo
Waste360 and Stifel Financial Corp. will present the third annual WasteExpo Investor Summit at the 2015 show in Las Vegas June 1-4.
The Summit, the only dedicated gathering of corporate executives and institutional investors in the waste and recycling industry, again will be moderated by Michael E. Hoffman, managing director for St. Louis-based Stifel, with 28 years of following the industry as a financial analyst.
The Summit will take place Monday, June 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and kick off WasteExpo, North America’s largest solid waste, recycling and organics industry event.
The WasteExpo Investor Summit will bring together senior management of major public and private solid, industrial and energy waste companies, innovators of new technologies and institutional investors. For participating companies, the event creates a unique opportunity to talk directly to the financial community about their businesses.
Hoffman has been a top-ranked sell-side analyst by Greenwich Associates, Institutional Investor and StarMine.
Companies currently confirmed to present include: Advanced Disposal; Casella Waste Systems Inc.; Covanta Holding Corp.; Newalta Corp.; Progressive Waste Solutions Ltd.; Republic Services Inc.; Waste Connections Inc.; and Waste Management Inc.
"We're thrilled to continue our relationship with Michael E. Hoffman, a top analyst in the waste and recycling industry, and to begin collaborating with Stifel Financial Corp., which is a premier wealth management and investment banking firm," said Warren N. Bimblick, Penton group president. (Penton is Waste360's parent company.) "Since its inception, the Summit has been very successful – last year we saw a 20-percent increase in attendance. We are pleased to be able to showcase this $70 billion market cap industry.”
Added Hoffman, "We are very pleased to extend our relationship with Penton and to deliver timely, relevant content that impacts operators and vendors in the solid, industrial and E&P (exploration and production) energy waste industries. Like the first two Investor Summits, we will offer one-on-one interviews with key industry executives as well as a series of more robust panel discussions on key industry topics such as E&P Energy Waste, the Midsized Private Company Perspective and Using Big Data to a Competitive Advantage."
