Robertson County, Tenn., Mayor Terminates Solid Waste Director Following Complaints

The county is currently looking for a new solid waste director and hopes to have a new director by spring.

Last month, Robertson County, Tenn., Mayor Howard Bradley terminated Solid Waste Director Randall Pugh after receiving numerous calls for action against the director. Mayor Bradley gave Pugh the option to retire, resign or be terminated on January 20, and Pugh chose to be terminated.

The county is currently looking for a new solid waste director and hopes to have a new director by spring.

The Tennessean has more information:

Robertson County Mayor Howard Bradley terminated Solid Waste Director Randall Pugh late last month after he received several calls for action against the longtime employee from the County Commission’s solid waste committee and the community, he said.

Bradley gave Pugh the option to retire, resign or be terminated on Jan. 20, he said.
