Greenstar Completes Acquisition of Mid America

Greenstar North America, Houston, has completed its acquisition of Mid America Recycling Co. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition complements Greenstar’s strategy of increasing its customers’ landfill diversion.

“Mid America’s leadership in recycling, particularly with new investments in single-stream processing, and its global trading business directly compliments our North American strategy,” said Steve Ragiel, CEO of Greenstar, in a press release.
