Waste Industries USA, Raleigh, N.C., has announced the acquisition of three hauling operations that are expected to add nearly $3.1 million to its annual revenue. Further details of the transactions were not disclosed.

The firm acquired Sanitech/AWD, a residential hauler that operates in the west Atlanta suburbs, Saunders Superior Services, Wilmington, N.C., and Tyson Sanitation Services, Bailey, N.C.

“These acquisitions are a continuation of our long-stated goal to internalize more waste into our landfills and to build dense routes, which should enable us to provide high quality, efficient and cost effective waste services to our customers,” said Ven Poole, vice president for corporate development for Waste Industries, in a press release.
