Winnipeg, Canada, to Begin Residential Yard Waste Collection Next Week

Winnipeg, Canada, will begin curbside residential yard waste collection on April 24, allowing residents to properly recycle their grass clippings, branches and leaves in an efficient manner.

Yard waste can be placed in reusable containers, cardboard boxes and paper yard waste bags for pickup, but yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted.

If you have grass clippings, branches and leaves to get rid of, the city is ready to pick up your yard waste.

Winnipeg’s curbside yard waste collection starts Monday for homes in yard waste collection Area A. Starting April 24, homes in collection Area B can get rid of their waste.
