Michigan Counties Looking for Committee Members for Sustainable Waste Management Plans

Residents in Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford, Mich. are encouraged to apply for membership on a new Multi-County Materials Management Planning Committee to help with sustainable waste management plans.

The committee will work to develop a materials management plan in the area with help from Networks Northwest. The new plan will focus on sustainable material use, rather than landfill capacities and waste disposal like previous plans.

The committee will consist of at least 11 members who have experience with materials management or hold elected positions in the participating counties.
