On Monday night, a three-alarm fire broke out at Sakoutis Brothers Disposal in New Jersey. The fire took more than five hours to put out, and the South Plainfield Fire Prevention Bureau is currently investigating the cause of the fire.

Dozens of firefighters worked for more than five hours Monday night to put out a three-alarm fire at a trash transfer station in South Plainfield, officials said.

Large piles of garbage caught fire at the Sakoutis Brothers Disposal around 7:45 p.m, the South Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department said. No one was in the building.
