Mountain Home, Ark. Agrees to New, Simplified Contract with Waste Connections

Last week, the Mountain Home City Council in Arkansas approved a new contract with Waste Connections, simplifying household service and billing.

Last week, the Mountain Home City Council in Arkansas approved a new contract with Waste Connections, simplfying household service and billing.

The newly agreed-to contract will allow residents to select their preferred cart size at a consistent single residential rate of $21.95 per month. Additionally, commercial customers will pay a $36.95 fee for single-cart service.

“We really worked hard to simplify it. It was so complicated with the different sized carts and refunds back,” said Kendrick Ketchum, Waste Connections District Manager, to the council.

“We sat at this table, I don’t know how many times and argued back and forth. It was good arguments.”
