Napa Recycling and Waste Services’ Recycling Center to Receive New Protective Canopies

Located in California, Napa Recycling and Waste Services is preparing to install five metal canopies at its recycling center, which will help protect the center from rain and runoff pollution.
In addition, the recycling center will receive a 300-foot-long concrete slab, which will increase the center’s storage area for metals, paper, glass, plastics and other reusable materials.

The hub of Napa’s recycling program will receive more shelter from the rain – and more protection against runoff pollution.
A set of five metal canopies will be installed at the city’s materials diversion center at 820 Levitin Way, which has operated since the early 1990s. The roof structures, which will range from 20 to 26 feet high, will protect stores of recyclables while reducing stormwater runoff in winter.
