Republic Services Reports Q2 2024 Revenue Growth of 8.6 Percent
Phoenix-based Republic Services reported double-digit growth in EBITDA and EPS in Q2 2024. The company expanded EBITDA margin by 110 basis points and reported a net income of $511 million.

Phoenix-based Republic Services reported double-digit growth in EBITDA and EPS in Q2 2024.
The company expanded EBITDA margin by 110 basis points and reported a net income of $511 million.
"Pricing in excess of cost inflation and solid operational execution underpinned strong results across the business," said Jon Vander Ark, president and CEO.
He added, " We continue prioritizing our differentiating capabilities – Customer Zeal, Digital and Sustainability – to help our customers achieve their operational and sustainability goals, and drive significant value for our stakeholders."
Republic Services indicated that year-to-date cash invested in acquisitions, including an investment in a post-collection business, was $67.6 million.
The company also reported a boost in recycled commodity prices, which rose to $173 per ton from $119 per ton in 2023.
