In compliance with the "McEnroe Act" (N.J.S.A. 13:1E-136et seq.), ACUA conducted a rigorous selection process to identify firms capable of developing a Solid Waste Conversion Facility at their premises.

Under the designation 2023-RFQ-01, ACUA called for Qualification Statements from interested parties. The criteria for selection encompassed

technical expertise, financial prowess, reputation, and past experience. The deadline for submission was October 26, 2023, and after careful evaluation, the following firms have been recognized as Qualified Vendors:

  • EnviroPower Renewable Development, Inc.

  • Juno, LLC

  • MBL Technology, LLC

These selected vendors have showcased remarkable proficiency and credibility in their respective fields, meeting ACUA's stringent requirements.

This strategic move aligns with ACUA's commitment to innovation and environmentally conscious waste management practices. The authority's President, Matthew J. DeNafo, and Purchasing Manager, Oren R. Thomas IV, QPA, CPM, express their enthusiasm for this milestone and the promising collaborations ahead.
