ARCA Recycling Launches Two Appliance Recycling Programs in Colorado

ARCA Recycling, Inc. is teaming up with Platte River Power Authority and Colorado Springs Utilities for two new appliance recycling programs in Colorado, which will offer customers free in-home pickup and recycling of working refrigerators and freezers.

"We're proud to work with Platte River Power Authority and Colorado Springs Utilities to offer Colorado residents the opportunity to save money, reduce their energy consumption and safely dispose of harmful substances found in old appliances," said Rachel Holmes, executive vice president of ARCA Recycling, in a statement.

The Platte River program started accepting customer orders in early September, and the Colorado Springs program is slated to begin this fall.
