Call2Recycle has announced it is bringing its battery recycling program to Nova Scotia, Canada starting this month.

Call2Recycle, the Canada-based company leading the way for battery collection and recycling, will play an important role in Nova Scotia’s efforts to fight climate change and reduce waste. In August 2023, Nova Scotia’s government implemented new EPR regulations requiring producers to manage end-of-life batteries sold in the province.

“Nova Scotia is committed to environmental protection and fostering sustainable waste management practices,” said Timothy Halman, Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Nova Scotia.

“Call2Recycle's battery recycling program directly aligns with these goals, not only by reducing waste but also by contributing to climate change mitigation and promoting a strong circular economy in our province through responsible battery recycling.”
