French Town Rolls Out Waste Task Force to Look for Disposal Violations

A French town has created an “anti-rubbish dumping” brigade, which will see municipal officers check for wrongful waste disposal.

A French town has created an “anti-rubbish dumping” brigade, which will see municipal officers check for wrongful waste disposal.

Three municipal officers from local law enforcement have been tasked with making sure households are disposing of waste properly. They will manage a team of 15 officers who will be on the lookout for waste violations and able to hand out fines on the spot.

After the first 10 days in action, the task force issued 10 fines.
