The city of Norfolk, Va. has extended its partnership with TFC Recycling to keep curbside recycling alive in the area.
TFC Recycling has served the area for over 20 years and collects curbside recycling for over 61,000 households. Virginia Beach led the way by extending its partnership with TFC Recycling earlier this year. A survey of Norfolk and Virginia Beach residents indicated that they believe recycling is essential for environmental stewardship and see curbside recycling as the most efficient and effective way to recycle and divert materials.
“TFC Recycling is proud to support the shared environmental vision of Norfolk and Virginia
Beach, helping both cities lead the region in sustainable waste management,” said Michael
Benedetto, President and CEO of TFC Recycling.
“By investing in curbside recycling, these
communities are committing to environmental responsibility. Our team is dedicated to ensuring
these programs succeed and grow.”
