Allied Reports Revenues Up

Scottsdale, Ariz. -- Allied Waste Industries Inc. has reported revenues for the third quarter ended Sept. 30 were $1.394 billion, up from $1.38 billion in the third quarter of 2002. Revenues for the first nine months of 2003 were $4.032. Operating income for the third quarter was $286 million compared to $334 million for the same period one year ago. Operating income for the nine-month period ended Sept. 30 was $811 million. Cash flow from operations for the third quarter was $253 million and $630 million for the past nine months.
