Round Rock, Texas -- Dell Computers and the Washington, D.C.-based National Recycling Coalition (NRC) have formed an alliance to train school, municipality and nonprofit officials on best practices for the reuse and recycling of computers. The pilot training program begins Oct. 10 at Stanford University, Stanford, Calif. A computer collection event follows the training Oct. 11. The event is part of Dell’s 15-city recycling tour, which, according to Dell, has collected close to 2 million pounds of used computer equipment this spring and summer.
