IESI Completes Purchases

Fort Worth, Texas -- IESI Corp. has completed several purchases in Texas from Waste Corporation of Texas, Houston. They include three hauling operations in Mineral Wells, Stephenville and Graham and one transfer station in Granbury. The purchase included 14 municipal collection contracts, including the cities of Stephenville, Graham and Mineral Wells. The hauling operations IESI acquired serve approximately 26,000 residential customers and 4,900 commercial and industrial customers. Annual revenue is approximately $8.7 million.
