Insulation Industry Says It's Second Highest User of Recycled Glass

Alexandria, Va. -- A survey conducted by the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) has revealed its member companies used 2 billion pounds of recycled glass in the manufacture of fiber glass and slag wool insulation in 2002. According to NAIMA, the manufacture of glass insulation accounts for the second highest usage of recycled glass.
