Washington, D.C. -- The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI) met its 2003 recruitment goal and surpassed expectations for retention. ISRI welcomed 120 new members and maintained a retention rate of 90 percent. ISRI’s success is credited to its recruitment restructuring and retention efforts, which involved chapters setting specific goals and less involvement from the national office. The organization expects membership growth to continue by offering this year’s membership rate at half-price.
